 area=3456 sq.m

let length be 3x,let breadth be2x.

area=l *b

3456=3x*2x

3456=6x sq

x sq.=3456/6

x sq.=576

(576 is the square root of 24)

x=24m

3x=24*3=72m

2x=24*2=48m

(for fencing perimeter is must)

P=2(l+b)

P=2(72+48)

P=2(120)

P=2*120=240

P=240m

cost of fencing = 2.50msq

cost= 2.50×240

cost = rs600

Area of rectangle =lenght × breadth

3456 = 3x × 2x

3456=6x²

3456/6 = x²

576=x²

√576 =x

24 =x

Now,

Lenght =3×24=72
Breadth = 2×24=48

Perimeter of rectangle =2(lenght + breadth)


Perimeter =2(72+48)

Perimeter = 2×120


Perimeter =240

Cost of fencing = 2.5 × 240
