let the length be 13x and breadth be 12x

So, 400=2(13x+12x)

400=2 * 25x

400=50x

x=8 m

So, 13x = 104 m

12x = 96 m

So, area = l*b

= 104*9

= 9984 m^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Let sides be 13x and 12x

Perimeter of rectangular park = 2(l+b)

Given perimeter = 400m

400m = 2(l+b)

400 = 2(13x+12x)

400 = 2(25x)

400 = 50x

400/50 = x

8 = x

Length = 13×8= 54m

Breadth 12×8= 96m

Area of rectangular park = l×b

= 54×96

5184m^2

Hence area of rectangular patk is 5184m^2
