                             = 2 ( Length + Breadth)

                             = 2 ( 5x + 3x )

Total cost of fencing = Cost of 16x m = 7 × 16x

But total cost given is Rs. 2800

∴ 7 × 16x = 2800

        16x = 400

          x = 25

∴ Length of rectangular piece of land (5x) = 125 m

  Breadth of rectangular piece of land (3x) = 75 m

Area of rectangular plot  = Length × Breadth

        = 125 × 75

       = 9375 m²
