Let l=3x
let b=2x
perimeter =2(l+b)
140 =2(3x+2x)
140=2(5x)
140÷2=5x
70=5x
70 ÷5=x
14=x
therefore , length=3x=3(14)=42
breadth=2x=2(14)=28

Heya Mate.........................

Here is your answer..........................

_____________________________________________________________________________________

Let the ratio be x

Perimeter of rectangular field = 2(l + b)

==> 140m = 2(3x + 2x)

==> 140m = 2(5x)

==> 140m = 10x

==> 140/10 = x

==> x = 14m

Hence length = 3x

                        = 3*14

                        = 42m

           Breadth = 2x

                          = 2*14

                          = 28m

So length and breadth of field is 42m and 28m.
