Then its length is x + 5cm

Perimeter = (length + breɑth)

70 = 2x + 5

$\frac{70}{2}$ = 2x + 5

2x + 5 = 35

2x = 35 - 5 = 30

$\frac{30}{2}$ = 15cm

Breadth = x = 15cm and length = x + 5

= 15 + 5 = 20
