Given:-

• The length and the breadth of a rectangular park area in the ratio 5:3.
• The perimeter of park is 128m

To find:-

• Find the area of the rectangular park..?

Solutions:-

• Let length of the rectangle be 5x and let breadth of the rectangle be 3x.

We know that,

• Perimeter of the rectangular park = 2(l + b)

=> 128 = 2(5x + 3x)

=> 128/2 = 8x

=> 64 = 8x

=> x = 64/8

=> x = 8

So,

• length => 5x = 5 × 8 = 40m
• breadth => 3x = 3 × 8 = 24m

Now,

• Area of rectangle = length × breadth

=> 40 × 24

=> 960m²

Hence, the area of the rectangle park is 960m².
