Let length and breadth be 3x and 2x respectively

As we know

area of rectangle = l × b
So
==> 3456 = 3x × 2x
==> 3456 = 6x2
==> 3456 / 6 = x2
==> 576 = x2
==> x = 24

Hence length = 72m and breadth = 48m

Now !!!!

Perimeter = Circumference
==> 2 ( l + b )

==>2 ( 72 + 48 )

==> 2 × 120

==> 240m

Cost of fencing = 240 × 2.50 = Rs 600

Hence option A will be correct !!!

6x²= 3456
x²=3456/6
x²=576
x=√576
x=24

length=24×3=72 m

breadth=24×2=48 m

Perimeter = 2(l+b)
= 2(72+48)
= 2×120
= 240 metres.

1 metre = 2.50 rupees
240 metres = 2.50×240
= 60000/100
= 600 rupees.
