  • Length of rectangular plot= 500m
  • Breadth of rectangular plot= 300m

 \rm{ \color{grey}{ \overline{ \underline{ |to \: find|}}}}

  • Area of rectangular plot
  • Cost of rectangular plot at the rate of ₹10,000 per  \rm {m}^{2}

Area of rectangle = length×breadth

= 500m×300m

 \rm = 150000 {m}^{2}

 \rm{cost \: of \: 1 {m}^{2}  \: land =₹10000 }

 \rm{cost \: of \: 150000 {m}^{2}  \: land = 150000 \times 10000}

 \rm{ =₹1500000000 }

Before, finding the answer. Let's find out how we can find the answer.

  • Here, we have to find the Area of the Rectangular field. To find the Area, we have to use the formula of :

\boxed{\sf Area \: of \: Rectangle = l \times b}

  • After, we find the Area. We have to multiply the Area with the Cost.

Given :

  • Length = 500 m
  • Breadth = 300 m
  • Cost = ₹ 10,000

To find :

  • Its area
  • The cost of the land

Solution :

Area of Rectangular Field = l × b

                                           = 500 × 300 m²

                                           = 150000 m²

∴ Area of Rectangular Field is 150000 m².

Cost of Land = Area × Rate

                     = 150000 × 10,000

                     =  ₹ 1500000000

∴ Cost of Land is ₹ 1500000000.
