1)Length of the rectangle =500m
Breadth of the rectangle =300m
So the area=length× breadth
=500×300
=150000m
2)Cost of 1 m2 of land=Rs 10000
So cost of 150000m2 =150000×10000
=Rs1500000000

\huge\mathfrak{Answer:}

Area:-

\boxed{150000.}

Price of land:-

\boxed{1,500,000,000}

Given that :-

  • The length and the breadth of a rectangular piece of land are 500 m and 300 m respectively.

To Find :-

  • (i) Its area

  • (ii) The cost of the land, if 1 m^2 of the land costs 10,000

Solution :-

Length = 500 m

Breadth = 300 m

cost of 1m2 of land = Rs. 10,000

\boxed{Area = Length×Breadth}

=500×300=150000= 150000.

Price of Land = Area × cost per sq m

=150000×10000 =

Rs. 1,500,000,000
