Solution

length (l)=16cm

breadth (b)=4cm

area of the rectangle=(16×4)cm²=64cm²

now according to the Question the area of the square is equal to the area of rectangle.

now..

area of the square of side X cm is =x²cm²

now..

x²=64

=>x=√64

=>X=8cm

therefore the side of the square is =8 cm
