Answer: Given; length of rectangular room= 12.5m

breadth of rectangular room= 9.6m

and side of room which is in square shape= 11m

Step-by-step explanation:

area of rectangular room= length*breadth

= 12.5*9.6

= 120m^2

area of room which is in square shape= side^2

= 11*11

=121m^2

therefore; room which is in square shape is greater than the rectangular room.

difference in the area of both rooms= (121- 120) m^2

=1 m^2

the room of square shape is greater from rectangular room by 1 m^2
