Let the length and breadth of rectangle field is 5x and 3x respt and area =3.75 hectars

We know that 1 hectare=10000 sq metes

Then area 37500 sq m

Then Area 5x×3x=37500

⇒15x

2

=37500

⇒x

2

=2500

⇒x=50

Then length =5×50=250 m and breadth =3×50=150 m

Than perimeter of rectangle field =2(L+B)=2(250+150)=800 m

Then cost of fending =800×5=4000 Rs

Step-by-step explanation:

hope it helps you dear

Question

the length and the breadth of rectangular field are in the ratio 5:3 and its perimeter is 430m . the area of the field is____

Solution

Given:-

  • the length and the breadth of rectangular field are in the ratio 5:3
  • perimeter of rectangular field is 430m .

Find:-

  • Area of rectangular field .

Explanation

Using Formula

perimeter of rectangle = 2 *[Length + Breadth ]

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

Let,

  • Length be = L
  • Breadth be = B

A/C to question,

(the length and the breadth of rectangular field are in the ratio 5:3 )

==> L : B = 5:3

==> L/B = 5/3

==> 3L - 5B = 0 --------------Equ(1)

Again,

(perimeter of rectangular field is 430m )

==> perimeter of rectangular field = 430

==> 2 × [ L + B ] = 430

==> L + B = 430/2

==> L + B = 215 ---------------Equ(2)

multiply by 5 un equ(2)

==> 5L + 5B = 1075 ---------------Equ(3)

Add equ(1) & equ(3)

==> 3L + 5L = 1075

==> 8L = 1075

==> L = 1075/8

==> L = 134.375 m

keep Value if L in equ(1)

==> 3 × 134.375 - 5B = 0

==> 5B = 403.125

==> B = 403.125/5

==>B = 80.625 m

Thus

  • Value of length of rectangular field (L) = 134.375 m
  • Value of Breadth of rectangular field(B) = 80.635 m

Now, calculate area of rectangular field

Area of rectangular field = L × B

==> Area of rectangular field = 134.375 × 80.635

==> Area of rectangular field = 10,833.984 m²
