Given,  

Length:Breadth.. Ratio= 5:3... Perimeter=128m... Dimension= ?

Lets consider length and breadth as 5x and 3x.

              Now perimeter of rectangle=2(length+breadth)

                                                      128= 2(5x+3x)

                                                       128=2(8x)

                                                   128/2= 8x

                                                        64=8x

                                                            x=64/8

                                                          x=8

 lets substitute the value of x in length and breadth..

                                            ∴   Length=5(8)=40m

                                                Breadth=3(8)=24m
