Given:-

Ratio of length : breadth of a rectangle = 12:5

Length = 48 cm

To find:-

Breadth of the rectangle.

Assumption:-

Let, length of the rectangle be 12 x

And,

Breadth of the rectangle be 5 x

By the Problem:-

$12x = 48 \\ = > x = \frac{48}{12} \\ = > x = 4$

So, Breadth = 5x = 5×4= 20 cm.
