The leNgth and the sides of the triangle are in ratio 4:5:6 and it's perineter is 150cm . Find the area of triangle and the height corresponding to the longest side

Let, the triangle sides be 4x, 5x, and 6x.

A/Q,

Perimeter of the triangle = 150 cm

Sum of all sides = 150cm

= 4x+5x+6x = 150cm

= 15x =

= x = 150/15

= x = 10

Hence, The triangle sides is 4x = 4×10 = 40

5x = 5×10 = 50

6x = 6×10 = 60

Base = 40cm

Height = 90cm

Area of triangle = 1/2 × b × h

= 1/2 × 40cm × 90 cm

= 1800cm²
