Answer :

  • Area of rectangular plot is 1000 m²

Given :

  • Length of a rectangular plot = 40m
  • Breadth of a rectangular plot = 25m

To find :

  • Area of rectangular plot

Solution :

As we know that,

  • Area of rectangular plot = l × b

where , l is length 40m and b is breadth 25m

》Area of rectangular plot = length × breadth

》40 × 25

》1000

》1000 m²

Hence ,Area of rectangular is 1000 m²

More Explanation :

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)
  • Area of rectangle = l × b
  • Diagonal of rectangle = √l² + b²
  • where, l is length and b is breadth

Question :

  • The length and breadth of a rectangular plot are 40 metres and 25 metres. What is its area in square metres?

 \\

Given :

  • Length of rectangular plot = 40m
  • Breadth of rectangular plot = 25m

 \\

To Find :

  • Area of rectangular plot

 \\

Solution :

✰ In this question, the shape of the plot is Rectangular and we know that Area of Rectangle is given by Length × Breadth. So Simply we will put the given values in the formula to find the area of the rectangular plot.

⟼ Area of Rectangular Plot = L × B

⟼ Area of Rectangular Plot = 40 × 25

Area of Rectangular Plot = 1000m²

Thus Area of Rectangular Plot is 1000m²
