the length breadh and height of a rectangular solid are in the ratio of 6:5:4 if the total surface area is 5328cm. square find it dimensions

the lenghts be 6x,5x,4x respectively

tsa is 2(lb+bh+hl)

ie.

5328=2(30x^2+20x^2+24x^2)

ie.

2*74x^2=5328

74x^2=2664

x^2=36

x=6

dimension are

36,30,24

TSA of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+lh)

5328=2(6x(5x)+6x(4x)+5x(4x)

5328=2(30x^2+24x^2+20x^2)

5328= 2(74x^2)

5328=148x^2

5328/148=x^2

36=x^2

x=36

x=6

there fore dimensions be

  1. l=>6*6= 36cm
  2. b=>5*6=30cm
  3. h=>4*6=24cm
