The length,breadth and height are 6m,5.4m and 4m respectively find the cost of painting the walls all at the rate of rupees 100 per sq. M and tiling the floor at the rate of rupees 200 per sq. M

Area to be painted= Area of four walls
=l×h+b×h+l×h+b×h
=2lh+2bh=2h(l+b)
=2×4(6+5.4)
=8×11.4
=91.2 sq m
cost of painting=100×91.2=9120 ₹

Area of floor=l×b=6×5.4=32.4 sq m
cost of tiling=200×32.4=6480₹
