Hence

$\sf \: surface \: area \: of \: a \: cuboid \\ \sf \red{ = 2(lb + bh + lh)}$

$\sf \red{ = 2(16 \times 8 + 8 \times 6 + 16 \times 6) {cm}^{2} } \\ \sf \red{ = 2(128 + 48 + 96) {cm}^{2} = 544 {cm}^{2} }$
