The length, breadth and height of a cuboid are in the ratio 3:2:1. Its volume is 384 cm³. Find
the total surface area of the cuboid.

volume = l × b × h

384 = 3x × 2x × 1x

384 = 6x³

384/6 = x³

64 = x³

x = 4

l = 12cm , b = 8cm, h 4cm

TSA = 2(lb + bh + hl)

TSA = 2(96 + 32 + 48)

TSA = 2(176)

TSA = 352cm²

×=4

breath 8

total surface area =

2 (lb+bh+hl)
