Let the length of cuboid = 5x

Let the breadth of cuboid = 3x

Let the height of cuboid = 2x

Surface area given = 558cm²

We know, Surface area of a cuboid =

2(lb + bh + hl)

Here, 2 ((5x × 3x)+(3x × 2x) + ( 2x × 5x) = 558cm²

= 2(15x² + 6x² + 10x²)= 558cm²

=2(31x²) =558cm²

62x² = 558

= 558/62 = 9cm

So, x = 3cm

We know, length of cuboid= 5x = 5×3=15cm

Breadth of cuboid = 3x = 3×3=9cm

Height of cuboid = 2x = 2×3= 6cm Answer.

Hence, length is 15cm,Breadth is 9cm and height is 6cm

Answer:

3

Step-by-step explanation:

let the

length be 5x

breadth be 3x

height be 2x

now ATQ

CSA = 558 cm

=2(hb +bl+hl) =558

=hb + bl +hl =279

{ on putting the value of 'h' 'b' 'l' }

=6x^2 +15x^2 + 10x^2= 279

=31x^2=279

=x^2=279÷31

=x^2 =9

=x=+3 or x=-3

{neglecting -ve value}

=x=3
