The length , breadth and height of a cuboidal box are 35cm , 25cm and 20cm respectively. How many small cubes with side 5cm can be placed inside it ?

Cuboid breadth ‘b’ = 25cm
Cuboid height ‘h’ = 20cm

Volume of Cuboid = lbh
=> Volume = 35 x 25 x 20
=> Volume = 17500 cm³

Side of cube ‘s’ = 5cm

Volume of cube = (s)³
=> Volume = (5)³
=> Volume = 125 cm³

Total number of cubes = Volume of Cuboid ÷ Volume of Cube

Total number of cubes = 17500/125

Total number of cubes = 140 cubes

Therefore, the total number of cubes are 140 cubes.
