Answer:

20cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume of the reservoir =lbh=7*6*15m^3=630m^3

Volume of water pumped out =8400l=8.4m^3

∴ remaining water in the reservior =630m^3-8.4m^3=621.6m^3

but length and breadth are fixed ....

So, lbh'=7m*6m*h'\\=>621.6m^3=42m^3*h'\\=>\frac{621.6}{42}m=h'\\=>h'=14.8m

Hence, height drop =h-h'=15m-14.8m=0.2m=20cm
