The length, breadth and height of a cuboidal reservoir is 7 m, 9 m and 15 m respectively. 81400 L of water is pumped out from the reservoir. Find the decrease in the water level in the reservoir in litres.

Water pumped out 8400 litre = 8400/ 1000 = 8.4 cubic meter

Surface area of tank =LxB = 7m x 6m = 42 sq mtr

Therefore decrease in level = 8.4 / 42 = 0.2 mtr
