Dimension of the hall,

Length = 5 m

Breadth = 6 m

Height = 7 m

The area covered by hall includes the door is

CSA=2h(l+b)

Substitute the value in the formula,

CSA=2\times 7\times (5+6)

CSA=2\times 7\times 11

CSA=154m^2

Dimension of the door is 1m\times 0.5 m

Area of the door is

A=l\times b

A=1\times 0.5

A=0.5 m^2

The area to be painted not include the door so the remaining area is

Remaining area = Area of hall - Area of door

Remaining area = 154 - 0.5

Remaining area = 153.5 square meter.

We have given,

1 meter square is Rs.90

153.5 meter square is 153.5\times 90=Rs.13815

Therefore, The cost of painting is Rs. 13815.
