Answer:

First find the volume of block of mass by multiplying 50 ×40×20 that is equal to 400cm mass is already give 160 kg use the formula for density mass / volume that will be 160 / 400 = 0.4kg/cm³ will be your answer thank you

Given : The length, breadth and height of a metal block of mass 160 kg are 50 cm, 40 cm and 20 cm respectively.

To Find  :   the density of the metal block.

Solution:

Density = mass / Volume

Mass = 160 kg  = 160 x 1000 g

Volume  = 50 x 40 x 20  =  40 x 1000  cm³

Density = 160 x 1000 / (40 x 1000)   = 4 g/cm³

or

Mass = 160 kg

Volume   = (50/100) x (40/100) x (20/100)  = 4/100  m³

Density =  160 / (4/100)   = 4000  kg/m³

density of the metal block.  is  4 g/cm³

or 4000  kg/m³
