The length, breadth, and height of a rectangular box are 80 cm, 40 cm, and 20 cm, respectively. If a square paper of 40 cm length is to be glued on it, how many such papers will be required?

The quantity of paper required will be equal to Total Surface area of the rectangular box which is in form of cuboid.

TSA of box = 2(lb + bh+ lh)

                        = 2(80*40 + 40*20 + 80*20)

                        = 2(3200+800+1600)

                        = 11200 sq. cm.

Area of  each sheet of paper = 40 * 40 = 1600 sq. cm

Number of sheets required =  11200/1600 = 7 sheets.
