The length, breadth and height of a room are 10m,12m,8m respectively find the lenght of the diagonal of the room?

Length = 12 cm

Breadth = 10 cm

Height = 8 cm .

( Of cuboidal room )

Diagonal = √ ( l ) ² + ( b ) ² + ( h ) ²

= √ ( 12 ) ² + ( 10 ) ² + ( 8 ) ²


= √ 144 + 100 + 64

= √ 308

= √ 2 * 2 * 7 * 11

= 2 √ 7 * 11

= 2 √ 77 .

So length of diagonal = 2 √ 77 cm

Diagonal = √ l^2 + b^2 + h^2
= √100 + 144 + 64
= √308
= 17.549....m
