The length, breadth and height of a room are 144m, 72m and 48m. Find the longest tape which can measure three distances of the room exactly.

Given :-

Length of room = 144 m

Breadth of room = 72 m

Height of room = 48 m

We need to find

Longest tape to measure length, breadth and height.

Since measuring tape will be smaller than 144 , 72 , 48.

We find H.C.F

:. Longest measuring tape = H.C.F of 144 , 72 , 48.

H.C.F of 144 , 72 , 48.

So , H.C.F = 3×5×5

= 75

:. Longest measuring tape =75
