Hi friend,

First we will find the CSA of all 4 walls.That is,

Length of the room=6m
Breadth of the room=4.5m
Height of the room=3m
Curved surface area of the room=
=2(l+b)*h
=2(6+4.5)*3
=2*10.5*3
=63m^2

Now the area of ceiling=
l*b
=6*4.5
=27m^2

Now add up the areas to find the total area-

=63+27
=90m^2

Now the cost of white washing the room=
Cost of white washing 1m^2=₹8
Cost for white washing 90m^2=90*8
=₹720.

Hope it helped you.............

length=6m
breadth=4.5m
height=3m.
area of four walls and area of ceiling =2 (l+b)h+lb
=2 (6+4.5)×3+(6×4.5)
2 (10.5)×3+27
(21×3)+27
63+27=90m^2.
cost of painting 1msquare=rs8
so cost of painting 90m^2=8×90=rs720
