The length ,breadth and height of a room are 825cm,675cm and 450 cm respectively find the lingest tape which can measure the three dimensions of the room exactly

The length  =825cm =8.25m  

breadth =675cm = 6.75m

height = 450cm = 4.5m

longest tape which can measure the three dimensions of the room exactly is the diagonal of the room which is

Length of diagonal of a cuboid = √(l^2 + b^2 + h^2)

Length of longest tape = √(8.25^2 + 6.75^2 + 4.5^2 ) m

= √( 68.06 + 45.56 + 20.25 ) m

= √133.88 m  = 11.57 m

Thus the length of the longest tape is = 11.57m ANS
