The Length,breadth and height of a room are 8m50cm , 6m25cm and 4m75cm respectively b. Find the length of the longest rod that can measure the dimension of the room exactly.

Length ( l ) = 8m 50cm = 8.5m

Breadth ( b ) = 6m 25 cm = 6.25m

Height ( h ) = 4m 75cm = 4.75m

Note :The maximum length of the rod that can be placed in a cuboid is along the diagonal. So, the rod of length equal to the diagonal is the maximum length which can be placed in cuboid.

Therefore, the maximum length of rod that can be placed is 11.57 m
