Solutions :-

Given :
Length = 9 m
Breadth = 5.6 m
Height = 3.5 m

Find the area of floor :-

Area of rectangle = (Length × Breadth) sq. units
= (9 × 5.6) m²
= 50.4 m²

The size of each tile is 90 cm by 50 cm.
= 0.9 m × 0.5 m

Area of tiles = (0.9 × 0.5) m²
= 0.45 m²

Find the number of tiles required to cover the floor of the room :-

Number of tiles = Area of floor / Area of tiles
= 50.4 / 0.45
= 112

Hence,
Number of tiles required to cover the floor of the room = 112
