Breadth of room is 12 m

Given : The length, breadth and height of a room are in the ratio 3:2:1

Let the length of room be 3x , breadth be 2x amd height be x

We have to Find the value of breadth

It's given that : Volume of room = 1296 cm³

Thus ,

Volume= 1296 cm³

\sf\implies1296=(3x)\times(2x)\times(x)

\sf\implies1296=6x^3

\sf\implies\:x^3=\dfrac{1296}{6}

\sf\implies\:x^3=216

\sf\implies\:x=\sqrt[3]{216}

\sf\implies\:x=6m

Hence ,

  • Length = 3x= 18 m
  • Breadth = 2x = 12 m
  • Height = x= 6 m
