Given,

The ratio of the length, breadth, and height of a room = 3:2:1

The volume of the room = 1296 m^3

To find,

The breadth of the room.

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem using the following process:

Let us assume that the length, breadth, and height of the room are 3x, 2x, and x m, respectively.

As per mensuration;

The volume of a cuboid= length × breadth × height

{Statement-1}

Now, according to the question;

The volume of the room = 1296 m^3

=> length × breadth × height = 1296 m^3

=> 3x m × 2x m × x m = 1296 m^3

=> (3x)(2x)(x) = 1296

=> 6x^3 = 1296

=> x^3 = 1296/6 = 216

=> x = (216)^1/3 = (6^3)^1/3 = 6^(3×1/3) = 6^1

=> x = 6

So, the breadth of the room

= 2x m

= 2×6 m

= 12 m

Hence, the breadth of the room is equal to 12 m.
