The cost of white washing its four walls at the rate of Rs. 7.50 per square metre is?

Solution:-

l=5m  ; b=4m  ; h=3m

⇒ LSA +lb=2(l+b)h+lb

          =2(5+4)×3+5×4

           =2×9×3+20

            =54+20

               =74

→Cost of white washing 1m=Rs 7.5

→Cost of 74m = 7.5× 74= Rs.555
