Answer:

40 boxes

Step-by-step explanation:

Volume= length×breadth×height

the volume of the room = (16×12×10)=1920 cube feet

volume of a box = (6×4×2)=48 cube feet

so the number of the boxes can be arranged in the room= 1920/48= 40

Given:-

  • Length, Breadth and Height of room is 16 feet, 12 feet and 10 feet.
  • Length, Breadth and Height of box is 6 feet, 4 feet and 2 feet.h†

To find:-

  • Find how many boxes can be arranged in a room.

Solutions:-

  • The volume of room length = 16 feet
  • The volume of room breadth = 12 feet
  • The volume of room height = 10 feet

  • The volume of room = l × b × h

=> 16 × 12 × 10

=> 1920 feet³

Now,

  • The volume of box length = 6 feet
  • The volume of box breadth = 4 feet
  • The volume of box height = 2 feet

  • The volume of box = l × b × h

=> 6 × 4 × 2

=> 48 feed³

Number of boxes in room = vol of room/vol of box

=> 1920/48

=> 40

  • Number of boxes in room = 40.

Hence, the number of boxes arranged in room are 40.
