Length ,breadth and height of a water tank are 400cm , 320 cm and 480 cm respectively.

To find a square tile of maximum size that can be fixed on all sides of the tank without breaking we need to fid HCF of

400 , 320  & 480

400 = 320 * 1 + 80

320 = 80 * 4

480 = 80 * 6

HCF is 80

Tile size  = 80 * 80

square tile of maximum size that can be fixed on all sides of the tank without breaking  = 80 cm x 80 cm
