GIVEN,

LENGTH=5m

BREADTH=2.5m

HEIGHT=1.25m

to find capacity we have to find volume

volume of tank=l×b×h

=5×2.5×1.25

=15.625m³  ( capacity in m³)

1m³=1000 lites

capacity in litre=15.625×1000

=15625L

Answer:

a). Answer is 15.625 m³

b). Answer is 15625 l (litres)

(a) Volume of water tank in m3 = l × b × h

= 5m × 2.5 m × 1.25 m

= 15.625 m3

(b) Volume of water tank in litre = 15.625 × 1000

= 15625  litre.

Explanation:

Given,

Length (1) = 5m

Breadth (b) = 2.5 m

and Height (h) = 1.25 m

a). Solution -

Volume of water tank in m³= l × b × h

= 5m × 2.5 m × 1.25 m

= 15.625 m³

b). Solution -

Volume of water tank in litre = 15.625 × 1000

= 15625  litre.
