Height of the water tank = 6 m (Given)

Convert litres to m

1 litre = 0.001 m³

8400 litres = 8.4 m³

Find the height of the water that was pumped out:

Volume = Length x Breadth x height

8.4 = 7 x 6 x height

8.4 = 42 x height

height = 8.4 ÷ 42 = 0.2 m

1000 Litre is 1 cubic meter
We have 7*6*2 = 84 cubic meter space
i.e., 84000 litre water

4200 is 5% of 84000
So fall in level is 5% of 2 meter height as length and breadth remain constant

So 200cm * 0.05 = 10 cm is the drop in height

Hope this helps
