Step-by-step explanation:

Let the height = height

Then volume= l× b×h

= 192 cm ka cube = 8cm× 6cm× height

= height= 192 cm ka cube upon mein 8× 6cm ka square

= height = 192 cm ka cube upon mein 48 cm square

= height = 4 cm

Therefore , (i) height = 4 cm

(ii) surface area = 2 ( lb+ bh+ HL)

= 2 (8×6+6×4+4×8) cm ka square

= 2(48+24+32) cm ka square

= 208 cm ka square

(iii) lateral surface area= 2( l+b) h

= 2 (8+6)×4 cm ka square

= 2(14) × 4 cm ka square

= 28 ×4 cm ka square

= 112 cm ka square

\bf{\huge{\underline{\boxed{\tt{\blue{Answer:}}}}}}

Given :-

  • Length = 8 cm
  • Breadth = 6 cm
  • Volume = 192 cm³

To find :-

  • Height of the cuboid
  • Surface area (total)
  • Lateral Surface Area

Solution :-

First we will find the height of the cuboid using the formula of Volume of a cuboid.

We know that volume of a cuboid is given by the formula,

\bf{\large{\underline{\boxed{\tt{\red{Volume\:of\:cuboid\:=\:(l) (b) (h) }}}}}}

Plug the given values,

192 = 8 × 6 × h

192 = 48 × h

\bf\large\frac{192}{48} = h

4 = h

° height of the cuboid = 4 cm

As of now, as we calculated the height of the cuboid we can comfortably calculate the other required parts of the question.

Let's move to Surface area.

We know that the surface area of a cuboid is given by the formula,

\bf{\large{\underline{\boxed{\tt{\pink{Surface\:area\:of\:cuboid\:=\:2\:(lb\:+\:bh\:+hl) }}}}}}

Plug in the values,

Surface area = 2 ( 8×6 + 6×4 + 4×8)

Surface area = 2 ( 48 + 24 + 32)

Surface area = 2 ( 48 + 56)

Surface area = 2 × 104

Surface area = 208 sq.cm

•°•Surface area of the cuboid is 208 cm²

Now, let's move to the last part, where we have to find the lateral surface area of the cuboid.

We know that the lateral surface area of cuboid is given by the formula,

\bf{\large{\underline{\boxed{\tt{\green{Lateral\:surface\:area\:of\:the\:cuboid\:=\:2\:(l\:+\:b) \:h}}}}}}

Plug in the values,

Lateral surface = 2 ( 8 + 6) × 4

Lateral surface = 2 ( 14) × 4

Lateral surface = 2 × 56

Lateral surface = 112 sq.cm

° Height of the cuboid = 4 cm

Surface area of the cuboid = 208 c

Lateral surface area of the cuboid = 112 cm²

\bf{\huge{\underline{\boxed{\tt{\blue{Verification:}}}}}}

For height :-

Volume = 192 cm³

Length = 8 cm

Breadth = 6 cm

Height = 4 cm

Plug in the values in the formula of volume of cuboid.

Cuboid :-

Volume = l × b × h

192 = 8 × 6 × 4

192 = 48 × 4

192 = 192

LHS = RHS.

Hence verified.
