Step-by-step explanation:

The length of a cuboid =12cm

Breadth of a cuboid is=17cm

height of a cuboid is=19cm

T.s.a of a cuboid=2lw+2lh+2hw

=2(12.17)+2(12.19)+2(19.17)

=1510 centimetre cube

volume of a cuboid=lbh

= 12.17.19

=3876 centimetre cube

★ Given :-

  • The length, breadth and height of a room are 12 cm, 17 cm and 19cm.

★ Have to Find :-

  • Find T.S.A, C.S.A and volume.

★ Diagram :-

\setlength{\unitlength}{0.74 cm}\begin{picture}\thicklines\put(5.6,5.4){\bf A}\put(11.1,5.4){\bf B}\put(11.2,9){\bf C}\put(5.3,8.6){\bf D}\put(3.3,10.2){\bf E}\put(3.3,7){\bf F}\put(9.25,10.35){\bf H}\put(9.35,7.35){\bf G}\put(3.5,6.1){\sf 17\:cm}\put(7.7,6.3){\sf 12\:cm}\put(11.3,7.45){\sf 19\:cm}\put(6,6){\line(1,0){5}}\put(6,9){\line(1,0){5}}\put(11,9){\line(0,-1){3}}\put(6,6){\line(0,1){3}}\put(4,7.3){\line(1,0){5}}\put(4,10.3){\line(1,0){5}}\put(9,10.3){\line(0,-1){3}}\put(4,7.3){\line(0,1){3}}\put(6,6){\line(-3,2){2}}\put(6,9){\line(-3,2){2}}\put(11,9){\line(-3,2){2}}\put(11,6){\line(-3,2){2}}\end{picture}

Let's find out :-

Formulas used :-

★ Surface area of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + hl )

★ Curved Surface area = 2 × Height ( l + b )

★ Volume of cuboid = l × b × h

1) Surface area of cuboid ⇒ 2(lb + bh + hl )

From Given :-

⇒ l = 12 cm

⇒ B = 17 cm

⇒ H = 19 cm

Substituting the values ,

↬ 2 ( 12 × 17 + 17 × 19 + 19 × 12 )

↬ 2 × 755

1510 cm²

2) Curved Surface area 2 *Height (l + b)

From Given :-

⇒ l = 12 cm

⇒ B = 17 cm

⇒ H = 19 cm

Substituting the values,

↬ 2 × 19 ( 12 + 17 )

↬ 38 * 29

1102 cm²

3) Volume of the Cuboid l × b × h

From Given :-

⇒ l = 12 cm

⇒ B = 17 cm

⇒ H = 19 cm

Substituting the values,

↬ 12 × 17 × 19

3876 cm³
