Let breadth be equal to x

then length= 2x+3

perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

= 4x +6 +2x

=6x +6

we know the perimeter

so it would be

246=6x+6

240=6x

x = 240/6

x=40m

Breadth = 40m

Length = 80+3=83m

Answer:

let breadth be x

according to condition length is 2x+3

therefore x + 2x+3=246

3x+3=246

3x=246-3

x=243÷3

x=81

breadth=x

=81

length=2x+3

=2(81)+3

=162+3

=165
