let the length be x
and the breadth be x-5
p= 9(x-5)
9(x-5) = 2{x+(x-5)}
9x - 45 = 2(2x-5)
9x-45 = 4x-10
9x-4x = -10+45
5x = 35
x = 7
x-5 = 30
therefore, length of the rectangle is 35 and the breadth is 30

Hey mate!

Let, l and w be the length and width respectively. Then,
l = 5+w ...(i)
Also,
2(l+w) = 9w ...(ii)
Substituting (i) in (ii),
2(5+w+w) = 9w
2(5+2w) = 9w
10+4w = 9w
5w = 10
w = 5 units
When w = 5,
l = 5+5
l = 10 units
Therefore, the length and width of the rectangle are 10 units and 5 units respectively.

That's the answer!

Hope it helps :)
