Answer:

Given that ;

Width of a box ( w ) = x cm

Length of a box ( l ) = ( x + 2 ) cm

Height of a box ( h ) = ( x - 1 ) cm

Given Question ;

The Sum of the three dimensions of the box,

= w + l + h

= x + ( x + 2 ) + ( x - 1 )

= x + x + 2 + x - 1

= 3x + 1

Hence ;

Sum of the three dimensions of the box is

( 3x + 1 ) cm
