AnswEr:

Let

  • Length = l metres
  • Breadth = b metres
  • Height = h metres.

respectively. Then, l = 2b (given) and h = 3 metres.

______________

Now,

Area of four walls = 108 .

 \implies \sf \: 2(l + b)h = 108 \\  \\  \implies \sf \: 2(2b + b) \times 3 = 108 \\  \\  \implies \sf \: 18b = 108 \\  \\  \implies \sf \: b =  \frac{108}{18}  \\  \\  \implies \sf \: b = 6 \: m

\therefore l = 2b

l = 2 \times 6

= 12 m

Hence,

Volume of the cold storage :

 =   \sf \: (lbh) {m}^{3}  = (12 \times 6 \times 3) {m}^{3}  = 216 {m}^{3}
