the length of a cubical carton is 1m . cubical chalk Stick boxes with length 20cm are to be packed in it .find the number of boxes that can be packed in the carton .

here's ur answer...

given the Length of the side of the cubical carton is 1m = 100cm

volume of the cubical carton = side³

= 100 × 100 × 100

= 1000000cm³

given the Length of the side of the cubical chalk stick box is 20cm.

volume of the cubical chalk stick box = side³

= 20 × 20 × 20

= 8000cm³

therefore no. of boxes can be packed in the carton = 1000000/8000

= 125

hence, 125 cubical chalk boxes can be packed in the cubical carton.
