the length of a diagonal of a square is 29 cm. find its area​

Answer:

the diagonal will make a right angled triangle with the two sides of the square

let the measure of one side bex

then using pythagoras theorem we get,

x^2+x^2=29^2

x^2+x^2= 841

841/2=x^2

420.5=x^2

if x is the side thenzx^2 is the area of square

threfore area of square=420.5
