Given :

Length of the field is twice of breadth

Area of the field is 180m²

To Find :

The length of the field

Solution :

Consider the breadth be x

Length = 2x

 \implies \sf 2x  + x = 180m^{2}  \\  \\  \implies \sf3x = 180 {m}^{2}   \\ \\  \implies \sf x =  \frac{180}{3}  = 60m

Breadth = 60

\rule{300}{1.5}

Value of 2x

 \implies \sf2 \times 60 \\  \\  \implies \sf 120

Length = 120m

Breadth = 60m

\rule{300}{1.5}

Length of the rectangular field is 120m

Step-by-step explanation:

let's

A=L×B

A is 180.

then put the value

l is twice

then

l= 2x

b=x

then .

a= l×b

180 = 2x × x

180 = 3x²

then

3x²= 180

x²= 180/3

x²= 60

or.

x = 60/2

x= 30

put the value
