Answer:

Required breadth of the garden is 160 m

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that 1 hectare is 10000 meter square

Length of garden = 200 m

Area of garden = 3 hectares 20 ares

Change all dimensions to meter

1 hectares = 100 areas

3 hectares = 3 x 100 ares = 300 ares

Total area of garden = (300 + 20) ares =320 ares

We know that

1 ares = 100 m²

320 ares = 100 x 320 m² = 32,000 m²

We have to find the value of breadth of the garden

Area of garden = Length \times Breadth\\32000 = 200 \times Breadth \\Breadth = \frac{32000}{200} \\Breadth = 160 m

Therefore, the required breadth of the garden is 160 m
